A sensory journey, through cacao and cask! Experience how single malts, bourbon, and other world whiskies come alive when paired with fine chocolates in this immersive TasteIST pairing workshop. Explore how cocoa softens peat, brightens fruity notes, and deepens whisk(e)y’s warmth as you learn guided tasting techniques and the subtle dialogue between cacao and cask. A refined, sensory experience for all levels of enthusiasts. A 2-Hour Guided Sensory Experience Total Time: 2 Hours This immersive workshop blends instruction, exploration, and interactive creativity as you discover how whisky and chocolate elevate one another. 1. Guided Pre-Defined Pairing Session (60 minutes) Experience three expertly selected whiskies—to be mutually agreed upon before the workshop and provided by the host—each paired with three distinct chocolates—curated and provided by the guide—to highlight contrast, harmony, and flavor synergy. Guests learn the tasting flow (Observe → Breathe → Settle → Release → Trace) while exploring how cocoa softens edges, enhances aroma layers, and deepens whisk(e)y’s natural warmth. 2. Interactive “Create Your Own Pairing” Session (30 minutes) Participants receive: 2 additional whisky samples (provided by the host) with contrasting profiles 4 chocolate options ranging from bright and fruity to rich and silky Guests experiment freely, create their own pairing combinations, and uncover unexpected harmonies guided by TasteIST’s structured tasting techniques. 3. Flavor Tracing & Group Sharing (20 minutes) Everyone captures their impressions using the Flavor Trace method—documenting first contact, mid-palate development, and finish identity. Participants then share discoveries with the group, compare sensory journeys, and learn how pairing choices reflect individual taste identity.

By booking a TasteIST guided tasting or workshop, the host and all participants confirm that they are 21 years of age or older. All alcoholic beverages used during the event must be selected in advance and provided by the host.
